Who We Are

As an active group from the greater Hartford area, we share our gardening interests and skills in a small, friendly club setting. We promote knowledge, interest and participation in five key garden-related areas:

Civic Projects  |  Conservation Floral Design  |  Horticulture  |  Photography

We learn though a variety of meetings, guest speakers, hands-on workshops and field trips. We also volunteer for a range of community outreach programs and continue to build a substantial legacy of civic projects.

As a not-for-profit club we support many worthwhile organizations in our region in addition to developing our close affiliations with garden groups in the New England Region. As one of 20 clubs in Zone II of the Garden Club of America, we are proud to be part of a strong vibrant organizations formed of nearly 20,00 members that help influence the legislative process in conservation matters and celebrate nature’s beauty.
